Jingju Quebec Art Center (shortened as “Jingju Quebec”) was founded in 2018. As the largest and most professionally operated Peking Opera organization in Quebec, it is dedicated to the promotion and inheritance of traditional Chinese Peking Opera culture.

The center boasts a team of rigorously trained, high-level performers who possess not only refined techniques but also a deep passion for the art. Their presence lights up the stage. Supported by a professional live orchestra, every performance delivers an immersive and captivating artistic experience.

Jingju Quebec not only offers full-scale productions but also emphasizes overall aesthetics and professional standards. The center provides meticulously crafted costumes and props to ensure that each performance reaches its full visual and artistic potential, attracting a wide audience from various backgrounds.

Beyond high-quality performances, Jingju Quebec actively promotes community involvement and cultural exchange. We established the "Pure Sound Club" to provide a platform for Peking Opera lovers of all levels to study and share their passion. It is both a stage for opera enthusiasts and a space for cultural exploration and appreciation, making traditional art more accessible and engaging.

At the same time, Jingju Quebec is committed to training the next generation of Peking Opera artists. Our teaching team consists of experienced professionals from both China and Canada, offering a structured and immersive training program. Students are guided in mastering the foundational skills of singing, recitation, acting, and acrobatics, empowering them to develop their own voice and shine on stage.
