Jingju Quebec Art Center
The Largest Professional Chinese Opera Organization in Quebec. Founded in 2018, Jingju Quebec Art Center is the most professional non-profit Chinese Opera troupe in Montreal and across Quebec. We are dedicated to the promotion and preservation of traditional Chinese Opera culture, include Chinese opera shows, cousrses, and kinds of events.
We boast a highly skilled team of professional performers and musicians. Our productions are artistically refined and well-received by local audiences.
In addition, we operate the "Pure Sound Club", “Duoya Kun Opera Society” as community platforms for opera enthusiasts to learn, connect, and grow. We also offer structured training programs to nurture a new generation of Traditional Opera talents.
With the mission of carrying forward China’s national essence, we aim to bridge cultures through art and serve as a vital force in the development of Peking Opera in Canada.

From zero foundation to stage performance,
this is where it all begins.
Traditional Roots · Professional Mentors · Systematic Teaching
Jingju Quebec offers long-term Peking Opera performance courses for students of all ages. Classes are taught directly by experienced artists and cover core skills such as singing, speaking, acting, and martial arts.
With full costumes and props integrated into the training, students learn to perform with expressive body movements and stage presence, gradually making their way onto a real Peking Opera stage.

PURE SOUND · A Shared Appreciation for Jingju
Pure Sound Club is an amateur opera society established by the Jingju Quebec Art Center. It is the highest-level Jingju fan club in Montreal, serving as a dedicated platform for opera lovers to connect and share.
It welcomes all enthusiasts of Chinese opera, offering professional accompaniment, a space for singing and performing, and a community for mutual support and exchange. Activities are held weekly and regularly open to the public.
Regardless of skill level, everyone is welcome to join, take the stage, enhance their artistry, and appreciate the beauty of traditional Chinese opera together.
